Warehousing - Statutory Engineering Examinations

Your Legal Requirements

  

With regards to statutory engineering examination If you are an owner of a warehousing company you have a legal requirement to comply with the following regulations:

 

Regulation 9 of The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) 

Under this regulation you are required to have the following equipment examined:
 

Fork Lift Trucks 

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms 

Passenger / Goods Lifts 

 

Regulation 8 & Regulation 9 of The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR

Under these regulations you are required to have the following equipment Examined:

 

Compressed Air System

   

Regulation 6 of The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

Under this regulation you may be required to have inspections completed on your work equipment by a competent person, This may include:

 

Conveyors

Fall Arrest / Restraint Equipment

Pallet Trucks 

Processing machines

Racking
