Your Legal Requirements

  

With regards to statutory engineering examination If you are an owner of a manufacturing company and employ staff you have a legal requirement to comply with the following regulations:

  

Regulation 9 of The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) 

Under this regulation you are required to have the following equipment examined:

 

Overhead Travelling Cranes

Mobile Cranes

Fork Lift Trucks 

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms 

Lifting Accessories 

Small Lifting Machines 

 

Regulation 8 & Regulation 9 of The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR

Under these regulations you are required to have the following equipment Examined:

 
 

Compressed Air System

Autoclaves

 
 

Regulation 9 of The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH)

Under this regulation you are required to have the following equipment examined:

 
 

Dust Extraction Plant

Fume Cupboards

Fume Extraction Plant

On Tool Extraction

Paint Fume Extraction

Spray Booths

Stone Dust Extraction

Spray Rooms

Vapour Extraction Plant

Welding Fume Extraction

Wood Dust Extraction

 
 

Regulation 6 of The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

Under this regulation you may be required to have some of your work equipment inspected by a competent person, This may include inspections of:

 
 

Conveyors

Fall Re-straight / Arrest Equipment

Material Handling Equipment

Pallet Trucks

Processing Equipment


Areas of cover include: Leicester, Nottingham and Derby.
